Introduction: In this step-by-step guide, we will explain how to use Planyard to create purchase orders (POs), receive goods, ship them out to (FBA), and adjust your local inventory accordingly.

Step 1: Create a New Purchase Order

Navigate to Purchasing > Purchase Orders and click the "New Purchase Order" button.

Step 2: Enter Vendor Information

Enter your vendor's name in the provided field and click "Create."

Step 3: Edit Purchase Order Details

Open your new PO and click "Edit." Begin adding items and their respective costs.

Step 4: Update PO Status

Change the status to "Working" and click "Save."

Step 5: Export PO for Your Vendor

Click the three-dot button in the top right corner and select "Print" to generate a PDF export to send to your vendor.

Step 6: Receive Goods

When your goods arrive, open your PO, click "Edit," change the status to "Receiving," and click "Save."

Step 7: Enter Received Quantities

Click "Edit" again, and start entering received quantities. You can either click "Receive All" at the top of the item list to receive all items, click "Receive All" for individual line items, or enter a specific amount in the "Received Qty" column for partial receipts.

Step 8: Save Received Quantities

Click "Save" for your receiving updates to take effect.

Step 9: Create FBA Shipment

To create your FBA shipment, go to Shipping > Replenish. Use the "Local stock" column filter to display only items in local stock (i.e., those received via PO).

Step 10: Adjust Local Inventory

After your shipment has been sent, click the "Deduct from Inventory" button inside your shipment to adjust your local inventory accordingly.

With these ten simple steps, you can efficiently manage your purchase orders, receive goods, and ship them to FBA using Planyard. Keep track of your local inventory to ensure smooth business operations and increased productivity.
