Managing your SKUs efficiently is crucial for inventory management and ensuring smooth operations. Nineyard provides an easy way to deactivate SKUs that are no longer in use or needed for active monitoring. This article guides you through the steps to deactivate SKUs in Nineyard.

Step 1: Log in to Your Nineyard Account

Before you begin, make sure you’re logged into your Nineyard account. If you don't have an account yet, you can easily start your free 7-day trial by going to Nineyard's signup page.

Step 2: Navigate to the SKUs Section

Once logged in, you'll find a sidebar menu on the left side of your dashboard. Click on the “Shipments > Replenish” section. This will take you to the page where all your SKUs are listed.

Step 3: Locate the SKUs to Deactivate

You’ll see a list of all your SKUs on this page. Locate the SKUs you wish to deactivate. You can use the search bar or filters to make this process easier and faster.

Step 4: Select the SKUs

Next to each SKU, there’s a checkbox. Click on the checkboxes next to the SKUs that you want to deactivate.

Step 5: Use the “Select Action” Dropdown Menu

At the top of the SKU list, you will see a “Select Action” dropdown menu. Click on it to see the various actions you can perform for the selected SKUs.

Step 6: Choose the “Deactivate” Option

From the dropdown menu, select the “Deactivate” option. This action will deactivate the selected SKUs, removing them from your active list.

Note: Reactivating SKUs

Deactivation is reversible. If, for any reason, you need to reactivate a SKU later, simply go back to the “SKUs” section, find the deactivated SKU, and choose "Activate" from the “Select Action” dropdown menu.

Conclusion

Deactivating SKUs in Nineyard is a straightforward process. It helps in keeping your inventory management streamlined and focused on the SKUs that are actively in use. Utilizing this feature effectively can assist in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory management system. Remember that you can always reactivate SKUs if needed.
