Updated today

You can log into nkoda securely using your institution’s login system via OpenAthens, Shibboleth, or a custom method.

Step 1: Go to the nkoda Web App

Click ‘Log in’, then select ‘Log in with an institution’.

Step 2: Find and Select Your Institution

Search for your institution and select it from the list. If your institution uses a custom login, you’ll find it in the second list.

You’ll be redirected to your institution’s login page.

Log in using your usual university or school username and password.

After signing in:

  • Choose whether to create a new nkoda account or log into an existing one.

  • Use your institutional email address for proper linkage.

  • Click ‘Yes’ when prompted to confirm that you’re a member of your institution.

You’ll then see the nkoda Discover Page with a confirmation banner stating you’re signed in as a member of your institution.

Step 5: Use This Method for Future Logins

You must use ‘Log in with an institution’ each time you access nkoda.
