In just two quick minutes, you can take a proactive step to ensure your phone number never gets marked as spam, leading to a better connection rate!

Empower yourself by using the 'Test Call' feature to check if your number has been mistakenly labeled as spam. Place a call to your own cell phone number, and if you see 'Spam Risk' or 'Spam Likely' on the caller ID, it's time to take action.

If your number has been flagged as 'Spam Likely,' don't worry! We've got a solution for you. Register your Nooks phone numbers at https://www.freecallerregistry.com/fcr/. After successful verification, you can expect the spam label to be removed within up to two weeks (depending on your carrier). Plus, you can register multiple numbers simultaneously, making it super convenient for teams with multiple phone numbers.

For even better results, make it a practice to register any newly created numbers before you start making calls. This simple step significantly reduces the chances of your number being incorrectly labeled as spam.

Note: It's important to understand that while registering your number is a powerful tool to improve your connection rate, it's not a guarantee of 100% spam-free status. However, taking these steps can definitely help you on your journey to smoother and more successful connections!

To register a phone number, follow these steps:

  1. Within the dialer, select the Phone drop down-menu on the top left-hand side of the screen

  2. Select the +New Phone Number button (even if you have already created a phone number but want to register it)

  3. Select the "Register your number to avoid getting marked as spam." button

  4. Follow the steps in the registration

  5. Once completed, it may take up to two weeks to be registered

    1. This timeframe is dependent on each mobile carrier. The majority complete the registration in 24-48 hours, but there are some that take longer.

    2. Unfortunately, the registration does not notify you when it has been completed. The best to check this is to test the phone number yourself.

Testing Your Phone Numbers

Once you've completed the above steps, be sure to test your phone number out.

Nooks has a test call button built into the solution to allow you to test call yourself to see exactly how you display on caller ID. Leverage this any time you suspect you may be labelled as potential spam.

Nooks continuously works toward decreasing the potential spam labels behind the scenes and this article will be updated with any future best practices.
