OAuth Connection

The Nooks integration links to an associated Hubspot account via OAuth. For each connection, the Nooks service receives an API key that is used to make calls to the Hubspot API.

Nooks must be connected to Hubspot by a manager who is a Hubspot admin.

How the Integration Works

Just-in-time Access

In order to ensure data is up-to-date from Hubspot, Nooks adopts a “just-in-time” access model to Hubspot data.

Data Retention

Nooks generally uses a Just-In-Time model for interactions with Hubspot. As a result, no data from Hubspot is stored on Nooks servers with one exceptions.

  • Nooks maintains a list of Hubspot Users to support User Mapping settings.
These are not Contacts or Accounts, only Users of the integrated team.
Three fields are stored: UserId, Email and Name.
