Access to Okta admin console
Supported Features
Service Provider (SP) -initiated SSO flow: when the user lands on the Nooks login page and chooses to sign in via SSO.
Configuration Steps
Open the Okta dashboard, navigate to Applications → Applications and press the “Browse App Catalog” link
In the App Catalog search bar, search for Nooks, open the resulting page and click “Add Integration”
Complete the integration steps, which will take you to the Assignments page of the newly added integration. After assigning people or groups within your org to this integration, go to the “Sign On” tab, and take note of Client ID and Client Secret under “OpenID Connect”.
Send the following information to us via slack or email to your AE/CSM.
Client ID
Client Secret
Okta domain of your org (which can be found under the dropdown on the top right; looks like ***.okta.com) and
Your company’s email address domain (i.e. whatever’s after ‘@’ in the email addresses in your org)
Our team will review your email and configure it, after which you’ll be able to use Okta SSO.
Logging in to Nooks with Okta (SP-initiated SSO)
After the configuration is complete, the users you have assigned to have access to Nooks integration in Okta dashboard can go to the Nooks login page, select “Log in with SSO”, enter their company email and finally sign in with their Okta credentials in the popup that opens
