The 'Important' feature in NoPlex is a straightforward yet powerful tool for managing high-priority Tasks. With this feature, you can keep key Tasks easily accessible and visible and ensure you address the most critical aspects of your workload.
How "Important" Works
To mark a Task as important, click the 
icon, which is found in a Task list row on the web...
...and by swiping a Task to the right on mobile.
Once you mark a Task as important, the icon will become darker.
If a task no longer needs special attention, you can click the icon again to remove its important status.
Filtering by Important Tasks
On the left — whether you're using web or mobile — you'll have an option to sort by Important. Sorting is beneath the "Manage Collections" option and above your "Pinned" list.
Getting the Most out of Feature
What "important" means is completely up to you and your personal productivity style. However, it does mean I'm marking this Task so that it will sort my Task view view to more easily see what is my priority. So keep that in mind.
Important Tasks are separate from pinned Tasks, which appear in the left-hand pin tray as previously mentioned. Think of pinned tasks as "favorites" or "bookmarks." A Task can be both important and pinned.
