How to Use the Theme Feature

What it does: Customise your resume's colours to match the company's brand you're applying to, making your application more visually appealing and memorable.

How to access: Find the Theme button in the top menu of the resume builder.

Customisation options:

1. Color Themes

  • Click Theme to open a colour palette grid

  • Choose colours for fonts, icons, and graphic elements

  • Scroll through all available options

  • Free: Basic colour selections

  • Premium ⭐: 20 additional creative colour options

  • The top part of the circle is the main colour (larger), the right side is secondary (smaller).

2. Creative Backgrounds

  • Premium feature ⭐: Access 20 professionally designed backgrounds

  • Apply backgrounds to enhance visual impact

  • Sync option: Match background to your selected colour theme, or uncheck "Apply Color to Background" for grayscale

Pro tips:

  • Research the company's brand colors before applying

  • Use arrows to explore all color combinations

  • Experiment with different color and background pairings

  • Keep it professional—avoid overly bright or clashing colors

  • Consider industry norms (creative fields = more color flexibility; corporate = more conservative)
