Notification Preferences

The Notification Preferences settings allow you to control how workers and admins receive updates related to scheduled shifts, confirmations, and reminders. These settings help ensure timely communication and improve attendance and coordination.

Reply-To Email Address

  • Defines the email address where worker responses (such as replies to notifications) will be sent.

  • Useful for directing communication to a specific inbox or team.

Note: You can enter multiple email addresses in the Reply‑To Email Address field by separating them with a semicolon, without spaces.

Example: purple@gmail.com;yellow@gmail.com;orange@gmail.com

Email Sending Policy

  • Controls whether workers receive email notifications along with additional messages (e.g., push notifications or SMS).

  • Helps ensure workers are informed through multiple channels.

Email Receiving Policy

  • Allows admins to receive email notifications whenever workers:

    • Confirm job requests

    • Decline job requests

  • Useful for tracking worker responses in real time.

Shift Reminders

  • Automatically sends reminders to workers based on their scheduled shift start time.

Reminder Settings

  • Reminder 1 – Sent a specified number of hours before the shift starts

  • Reminder 2 – Sent a second reminder closer to the shift start time

These reminders help reduce no-shows and late arrivals.

Clock-In Reminders

  • Applies only to shifts with self clock-in enabled.

  • Automatically reminds workers to clock in if they have not done so within 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Clock-Out Reminders

  • Applies only to shifts with self clock-in enabled.

  • Sends reminders to workers to clock out if they are still clocked in after the shift ends.

  • The system intelligently detects if a shift may be running late to avoid sending unnecessary reminders.

Integration Update Notifications

  • Automatically notifies workers when shifts they are assigned to are updated via the Caterease integration.

Summary

These settings give you full control over how and when notifications are sent, helping improve communication, reduce missed shifts, and keep both workers and admins informed.
