Copy Week: How It Works

Overview

The Copy Week feature in the weekly view copies shifts from a selected date range to the same date range one week later. The selected dates determine both the shifts being copied and their destination.

To open:

  1. Go to Weekly View.

  2. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Copy Week.

How It Works

When you select a date range, Copy Week:

  • Finds all shifts within that range.

  • Automatically copies them to the same range one week later.

You cannot choose a different destination date.

Example

If you select April 12–18, the shifts will be copied to April 19–22.

Common Confusion

Some users expect Copy Week to work like "Copy and Paste," where they can choose any destination dates. However, this is not supported.

The destination is always calculated as one week after the selected source range. If you need to copy shifts to a non-adjacent week, the current Copy Week feature does not support that workflow.
