Sharing Parking Details & Finding Events by Location in Nowsta

📌 Adding Images for Staff Parking or Locations

At this time, you cannot upload images directly to the Staff Parking field or to a Location. However, you can share important visuals—such as parking maps or instructions—by attaching files directly to the event.

How to attach a file to an event:

  1. Open the event in Nowsta

  2. Click the “Attach Files” button at the top of the screen

  3. Upload your file (must be under 10MB and in one of the following formats: PDF, DOC, JPG, PNG, CSV, XLSX)

  4. Click Upload before saving to ensure the file is shared

Why this works:
All attached files are visible to staff assigned to the event, making this a reliable way to provide parking maps or location-specific instructions—especially if they differ from the main event address.

📍 Finding Events by Location

Currently, Nowsta does not offer a built-in way to search or filter events by location within the app interface.

Workaround: Use the Event Overview CSV report

Steps:

  1. Go to the Reports section in Nowsta

  2. Select the Event Overview CSV report

  3. Choose your desired date range

  4. Export the report

  5. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets

  6. Use the filter or search function to find a specific location address or venue name

This will generate a list of events associated with that location, along with relevant details such as shifts and event information.
