Available Settings
Confirmation Request Decline Policy
When a shift is requested for a worker, they can either confirm (accept) or decline the shift.
If a worker confirms the shift, it will appear on their Nowsta Worker App calendar and the shift will turn green in the Weekly View. If they decline, the shift turns red to alert you that the worker is not able to work this shift
Admins can receive email notifications whenever workers confirm or decline job requests, which helps track worker responses in real time.
Autoremove On "Decline" Response Policy
If this setting is disabled, the worker will need to be manually removed from the SEV once they hit the âDeclineâ button in their app.
If this setting is enabled, the worker will be automatically removed from the SEV once they hit the âDeclineâ button in their app.
Locking Application Response Policy
If the setting is enabled, this prevents workers from modifying their response to a published shift.
Once a worker has applied for a shift or indicated they are "not interested," their response becomes locked and cannot be changed.
Summary
Scheduling Settings in Nowsta allow organizations to customize how worker scheduling and shift responses are managed. Available options include controlling notifications for shift confirmations and declines, automatically removing workers from events when they decline a shift, and locking worker application responses to prevent changes after they have applied or indicated they are not interested.
