Accessing the Time & Attendance Page
Navigate to:
Scheduling → Time & Attendance
From this page, you can:
Review daily attendance records
Monitor clock-in and clock-out activity
Identify shifts requiring attention
Approve completed shifts
Filter records to quickly locate specific time entries
Time & Attendance Dashboard Overview
At the top of the page, summary cards provide a snapshot of attendance activity for the selected date range.
Total Shifts Found - Displays the total number of shifts matching the current filter criteria.
Scheduled Shifts - Shows the number of shifts that were created and scheduled in advance.
Unscheduled Shift - Displays shifts created through manual time entries rather than through the scheduling workflow.
Unapproved and Clocked Out - Shows completed shifts where workers have clocked out but the time entries have not yet been approved.
Approved Shifts - Displays the number of shifts that have already been approved.
Flagged Shifts - Shows the number of shifts with attendance exceptions or irregularities that may require review.
Available Filters
Filters help narrow down the attendance records displayed on the page.
Filter by Date Range - Use the From and To date fields to display shifts within a specific timeframe.

Filter by Client - Limits results to shifts associated with a particular client.

Filter by Statuses
Displays shifts based on their attendance or approval status.
Scheduled Shifts
Displays shifts that were scheduled through the system.
Use when: Reviewing upcoming or completed scheduled assignments.
Unscheduled Shifts
Displays manually added time entries that were not tied to a scheduled shift.
Use when: Reviewing adjustments or walk-in shifts.
Unapproved and Clocked Out
Displays shifts where workers have clocked out but approval is still pending.
Use when: Preparing payroll and identifying records awaiting review.
Approved
Displays shifts that have already been approved.
Use when: Verifying completed payroll approvals.
Minimum Hours
Displays shifts that may not meet the organization's configured minimum-hour requirements.
Use when: Reviewing potential underpayments or compliance exceptions.
No Actual Hours
Displays shifts without recorded actual working hours.
Use when: Identifying missing time entries before payroll processing.
On-the-clock
Displays workers who are currently clocked in and have not yet clocked out.
Use when: Monitoring active shifts in real time.
Flagged
Displays shifts containing one or more attendance exceptions.
Use when: Investigating irregular clock activity.
Filter by Condition Types
Condition Types identify the specific reason why a shift was flagged.
LS — Late Start
Description: The worker clocked in later than the scheduled start time.
Why it matters: May indicate tardiness or scheduling issues.
ES — Early Start
Description: The worker clocked in before the scheduled start time.
Why it matters: May result in additional payable hours that require approval.
LE — Late End
Description: The worker clocked out later than the scheduled end time.
Why it matters: Could lead to overtime or additional labor costs.
EE — Early End
Description: The worker clocked out before the scheduled end time.
Why it matters: May indicate incomplete shifts or reduced payable hours.
DIST — Too Far Away
Description: The worker clocked in or out from a location outside the acceptable geofence range.
Why it matters: Helps identify potential location compliance issues.
NCI — Never Clocked In
Description: No clock-in record exists for the shift.
Why it matters: Requires review before approval or payroll processing.
NCO — Never Clocked Out
Description: A clock-in was recorded, but no clock-out entry exists.
Why it matters: Prevents accurate calculation of worked hours.
ACO — Auto Clocked Out
Description: The system automatically clocked the worker out based on configured rules.
Why it matters: Actual end times may need verification.
14+ — Over 14 Hours
Description: The recorded shift exceeded 14 hours.
Why it matters: May indicate data entry errors, missed clock-outs, or compliance concerns.
UMH — Under Minimum Hours
Description: The worker's actual hours fell below the minimum hours configured for the shift.
Why it matters: May require manager review or payroll adjustments.
NWB — No Work Break
Description: No break was recorded during the shift when a break may have been expected.
Why it matters: Helps identify potential meal or rest break compliance issues.
Managing Time Entries
Once you locate the desired shifts, you can:
Review scheduled versus actual hours worked.
Edit time entries when corrections are needed.
Approve individual shifts using the Approve button.
Use Approve All to approve multiple eligible shifts at once.
Select Add New Entry to manually create a time entry when necessary.
Best Practices
Review flagged shifts before approving payroll.
Investigate missing clock-ins and clock-outs promptly.
Verify location-related flags when geofencing is enabled.
Use filters to streamline large attendance reviews.
Confirm all unapproved shifts have accurate actual hours before final approval.
