View Settings include options for:
Calendar Start Day: Choose which day your calendar week begins.
Critical Flag Threshold: Set the time difference that determines when a shift is flagged as critical.
Calendar Page: Add Event Functionality: Choose how events are created from the calendar.
How to...
Change the Calendar Start Day
Open View Settings.
Locate Calendar Start Day.
Select the day you want your calendar week to begin, such as Sunday or Monday.
Save your changes, if prompted.
Set the Critical Flag Threshold
Open View Settings.
Locate Critical Flag Threshold (in minutes).
Enter the number of minutes you want to allow between the scheduled hours and actual worked hours.
Save your changes, if prompted.
If the difference between scheduled and actual worked hours exceeds the threshold, the shift will be flagged as critical for easier review.
Choose How Events Are Added from the Calendar
Open View Settings.
Locate Calendar Page: Add Event Functionality.
Choose one of the following options:
Add event when clicking anywhere on a day: Clicking anywhere within a calendar day opens the Add Event form.
Only add event if the "+" button is clicked: The Add Event form only opens when you click the + button.
Save your changes, if prompted.
Important Notes
The Calendar Start Day only affects how your Events calendar is displayed.
The Critical Flag Threshold is measured in minutes and determines when a shift is flagged based on the difference between scheduled and actual worked hours.
Selecting Only add event if the "+" button is clicked can help prevent accidental event creation.
Summary
View Settings lets you customize your calendar display, monitor attendance differences, and control how new events are added from the Events calendar.
