How to Hide Workersâ Actual Hours
To prevent workers from viewing their actual hours:
Go to Settings in Nowsta.
Open Time & Attendance.
Enable Workers cannot see their actual hours.
Once enabled, workers will not be able to view their actual hours worked in the app.
How to Hide Workersâ Pay Rates
To prevent workers from viewing their pay rates:
Go to Settings in Nowsta.
Open Worker Privacy Settings.
Under Worker Pay Rate Policy, select the option to hide pay rates.
Review the Time & Attendance settings to make sure the appropriate actual-hours visibility setting is configured.
Hiding pay rates prevents workers from seeing pay-rate information for offered or upcoming shifts.
Important Notes
Worker privacy settings apply to all workers in the company.
Changes to these settings take effect immediately.
Actual hours and pay rates are separate privacy settings and can be managed independently.
Hiding actual hours can also prevent workers from seeing earnings calculated from their worked hours.
Troubleshooting
If workers can still see information that should be hidden:
Confirm the appropriate privacy setting is enabled.
Have the worker close and reopen the Nowsta app.
Have the worker log out and back in to refresh their session.
If the issue continues, contact Nowsta Support.
Summary
Worker Privacy Settings give administrators control over the visibility of actual hours, pay rates, and related earnings information. Review the Worker Privacy Settings and Time & Attendance sections to configure these options based on your companyâs needs.
