nsave is an online account that allows you to send money, receive and keep your funds securely abroad. With your account, you’re able to make transfers, receive funds and spend through the nsave card.

Why did you start nsave?

Millions of people globally struggle to protect and access their savings due to inflation, local troubles, and account restrictions. This is unfair and exclusionary.

We are on a mission to change this reality and make financial services inclusive.

What do I need to open an account?

To open your nsave account, you’ll need to get verified. To do this, you’ll need a valid passport, a recent proof of address and in some cases a proof of income history.

When signing up, you’ll be asked to complete a check with you holding your passport to verify your identity. Depending on the currency chosen, you might also need to do a quick live video verification where you will show your passport and answer a few questions.

How long does it take to open an account?

With the right documentation, opening your nsave account usually takes about 2-3 business days if all necessary documents are provided.

What currencies are available?

We currently offer Euro, GBP & USD accounts. The Euro and GBP accounts are also connected to the nsave Mastercard. USD accounts are also on offer, but are not connected to the card at this time.

Can I open an account if I'm under 18?

You have to be at least 18 years old to open an nsave account. If you're under 18, feel free to come back when you'll be old enough! We'll be honoured to have you then.

How do I receive money?

You can deposit your money by sending a bank transfer to your nsave account. This can be done from within or outside your country of residence by sharing your account details.

Receiving money to these details works like a regular transfer. Simply share your account details in EUR or GBP for the SEPA & UK zone, with the individual or business who wants to pay you, and share with them the currency of the account to ensure that they send money in the same currency.

You’ll then receive the transfer in the balance of your account.

You can easily send money from online platforms such as Deel, Payoneer, Wise etc. and instruct a transfer from a hard currency account to your nsave account. When doing so, make sure you send it in the same currency as your account!

How long does it take to receive money?

Depending on the country, type of transfer, currency & banks involved, delays to receive payments can vary. However, most of them usually can take up to 2-3 business days with international transfers which can take up to a week.

How do I send money?

To send money with nsave, you’ll first need to sign up. Once your verification is completed you’ll be able to send money.

  1. Open the nsave app

  2. Go to “Accounts” and select the currency you wish to send from.

  3. Click on “Send” below the balance.

  4. Select recipient. For new recipients enter the receiver’s account details.

  5. Enter how much you’d like to transfer

  6. Enter your passcode, review the details of the transfer and confirm!

What currencies can I receive?

You can have access to your account details in EUR, GBP and USD. For all currencies, you can only receive payments in the same currency as your account details, so ensure that the right currency and account details are used for payments.

How do I get my account details?

  1. Open the nsave app.

  2. Click on Accounts and select the currency for which you need the details.

  3. Select receive below the balance.

What types of payments can I receive into my account?

The type of payments you can receive depends on the currency. We currently cannot accept cash or cheque payments for any currency.

For EUR accounts, you can use your EUR IBAN to receive any SEPA transfers in EUR.

For GBP accounts, you can use your GBP sort code and account number to receive Faster Payments (FPS) and SWIFT payments in GBP for transfers coming from an account in your name.

How can I withdraw money?

You can withdraw money by using the issued debit card in any ATM around the world that accepts Mastercard, by using other services like Western Union to act as an intermediary, or by sending money to a local account and withdrawing.

How can I order my card?

As soon as you’re signed up you’ll have access to your virtual nsave card.

You’ll then also be able to order your physical card. Simply make sure that you have at least $20 for Pro users or $40 for Free users in the balance of your account, click on card and you’ll see the option to order a card.

Would I be able to use my card anywhere in the world?

You will be able to use the card wherever Mastercard debit cards are accepted!

What if I spend with the card in a currency I don’t have?

If you don’t have the currency you’re spending in your account, you can still make payments with your card. These payments will have a 2.5% fee on the Mastercard rate.

Is it free to transfer money between nsave accounts?

Sending and receiving money between nsave accounts is free! Sending to other accounts will incur a fee (depending on country, type of transfer, currency & bank). Please check the pricing page for more details here.

Am I able to use cryptocurrencies?

nsave does not currently support cryptocurrencies or the purchase of cryptocurrencies through the nsave card. We also do not provide the option of buying cryptocurrencies.

Why are you asking me for personal information?

Just like any financial institution, we are required to learn more about the clients we serve. This is to ensure that we are not facilitating any financial crimes and that we remain compliant. This also helps us secure your money and make sure that you can access it without issues!

Can I open an account without a residency in Europe?

Yes you can open an account without a residency in Europe or the UK. Our mission is to help protect everyone's savings from inflation irrespective of their country of residence.

How will you use my data and is it protected?

We abide by data protection laws and your data is securely protected. The data is hosted on secure servers and won’t be shared with other parties without your consent. We collect the data to do compliance checks, validate your identity, and improve the services we provide to you. We will not send you any irrelevant emails.
