Enrich your stories using Nugit Narratives

You can now add richer automated analysis and insights into your stories with Nugit Narratives, powered by ChatGPT.

What is Nugit Narratives?

This feature combines data from your Nugit visualisations with ChatGPT and generates high quality text analysis and storytelling within your Nugit Stories.

By using Prompts to tell Nugit what kind of analysis to generate, combined with the relevant data in the visualisation, Nugit will generate this as a headline, a set of bullet points or in long-form narrative style.

This additional narrative and content helps to create more depth and adds a “human touch” to your stories when automating and sharing insights.

In what ways can I use Nugit Narratives?

There are many ways that you can leverage on the power of Nugit Narratives for your stories, so we’ve narrowed it down to a few key use cases that you can start with:

  • Generate dynamic engaging headlines for your data analysis that automatically updates as your data changes.

  • Automate thoughtful text summaries to support a visualisation, updating in real-time as users interact with the Nugit.

  • Highlight key trends and changes in the data.

  • Compare results between platforms, campaigns and segments.

  • Deliver insights in different languages from French, Chinese, Thai and dozens of others, enabling you to author your report for your colleagues and clients around the globe.

  • Use creative prompts to enable richer analysis, segmentation, scenario planning, recommendations and classification.

How to Use Nugit Narratives

  1. Go into the Story Edit Mode and look for the nugit where you’d like to use the Nugit Narratives on.

  2. Click on the Title Settings icon (lightbulb symbol) and select ChatGPT Analysis.

  3. A pop-up box will appear where you can enter the prompt. Type in the desired prompt and click on Test to run the prompt.

    You will see a preview of the insights generated in the Preview box below. You can modify and test various prompts to see which results you like best.

  4. Once done, click on Save to save this prompt.

Best Practice, Tips & Tricks

Writing the right prompts for the Nugit Narratives can be tricky at first. But once you've used this feature a few times, you'll start to have a list of tried-and-tested favourites that you gravitate towards in your stories.
