The Unified Cookies report compiles every cookie identified across all audits in your ObservePoint account, with full details for each instance. This view provides:

  • Centralized View: Access information about each cookie’s attributes, initiators, and Consent Category status.

  • Detailed Insights: See when a cookie was first and last detected by ObservePoint and assess its prevalence across scanned pages.

  • Compliance and Optimization: Ensure cookies align with privacy and compliance standards while identifying unnecessary or unauthorized cookies.

This guide outlines common jobs you can accomplish using the Cookies report. These are just examples—the reporting system's filtering, grouping, and export features enable many more use cases tailored to your business.

⭐️ EXAMPLE REPORTS

Show Cookies by Web Property or Domain

Use the Domain and Initiator filters to find cookies:

  • Set by a specific domain (e.g., example.com)

or quickly group by Tag Vendor to see how many 1st or 3rd party cookies each has set:

Find Audits Where Specific Cookies Appear

Highlight them for compliance checks or technical debugging. In this example you can quickly see that there no cookies where both SameSite = None, and Secure = No. Hooray!

Count Unique Cookies

When grouping by Cookie Name and Domain notice the number column at the end of the group, this is a count of unique values for that group. Add Final Page URL as an additional column to see prevalence.

Identify Excessively Large Cookies
