The Obypay CRM allows you to send targeted campaigns to your customers by email, SMS or push notification, as a one-time send or via automated scenarios. The key to a good campaign: target the right contacts with the right message at the right time.
Step 1 : Prepare your contact list
Before sending a campaign, build your recipient list from Contacts using the advanced filters.
You can filter by : creation date, birthday, age, order amount, purchase frequency, number of points, favorite product, tags, opt-in, and many other criteria.
Once your search is launched, select the contacts and save them to a list. This list will then be used to target your campaign.
Example : target all customers who have placed more than 10 orders with an average basket above €20 — to send them an exclusive loyalty offer.
The two communication modes
Manual campaigns (one-time send)
You create and send your message at a specific moment to a defined contact list. Ideal for promotions, announcements or one-off events.
Email : allows you to integrate visuals, links (online ordering, social media, reviews) and track open and click rates
SMS : short and direct message, exceptional read rate, ideal for urgent offers or reminders
Push notification : direct notification on the customer's phone, without going through an email inbox
Automated scenarios
Messages trigger automatically according to predefined rules, without any manual intervention. Ideal for maintaining continuous and personalized communication.
Automatic email or SMS : triggers based on the customer's action or inaction (e.g. welcome email, inactivity reminder, birthday offer)
Notification + tags : triggers a send AND applies a tag to the contact
Contact tags : applies a tag only without sending a notification
Key difference : manual campaign vs automation
| Manual campaign | Automation |
Sending | One-time, on the chosen date | Automatic according to rule |
Effort | Regular planning | Configure once |
