Connecting your own email through SMTP will allow Octoa, to send the emails directly from your own inbox. This will result in a much lower chance of the email ending in the spam box of the client and you will be able to see your sent emails inside your own email.
These are the steps to take to connect your emails through SMTP.
Find your SMTP settings from your host.
This is the host of your domain/website. Usually the easiest way to find the right page is to use google and search on The name of your host + SMTP. (eg. "Godaddy SMTP")Copy the settings you find from the page
Enter your username and password you use to login to your email.
Send a test email
Save the settings.
The save button is on the bottom of the page.
