What Experience and Equipment Do You Need

Ocus Projects require professional-level work. Here's what you need before applying.

Experience

Your portfolio must show relevant work in at least one of these categories: gastronomy, real estate, tourism, or corporate.

Equipment — Photography

  • DSLR or professional hybrid camera — minimum 24MP sensor recommended (12MP absolute minimum)

  • Wide-angle lens + 50mm and/or telephoto lens

  • Tripod

Higher resolution is required for specific clients and shoot types (hero shots, close-up product work). If your camera is at the 12MP minimum, you may not be eligible for all Project types.

Equipment — Video (required for video-enabled Projects)

  • Camera with video mode capable of recording in at least 1080p (4K recommended)

  • Stabilizer or gimbal

  • External microphone (if audio is required)

Video capability is assessed separately during qualification.

Not all Creators are required to film video — it depends on the clients and Project types in your area.

Every application is reviewed individually. Meeting the minimum specs does not guarantee acceptance — portfolio quality and category relevance are the primary criteria.
