LED statuses

Find out what each LED status is informing you of the operational state of the Device.

The Handy uses a colored LED to indicate its operational state. The list of colors below indicates the various states the Handy can enter based on your Firmware version

NOTE: If the motor won't stop after you plug in the device and the LED keeps shifting between different colors, such as red, green and blue, your device is most likely defective. In that case, please contact support for a replacement.

Firmware 3

Manual Mode

(green)

The Handy is ready for offline use.

Bluetooth Mode

(blue)

The Handy is in Bluetooth mode awaiting Wi-Fi setup. Connect to the Handy with the Handyverse or Handy Onboarding App.

Connected to Wi-Fi

(magenta)

The Handy is connected to your Wi-Fi network and ready for online use.

Firmware 4.0.13 and Older

Before Firmware version 4.0.14 the LED status were different, here you can find the list of the previous statuses for these version

Bluetooth Mode

(green)

The Handy is in Bluetooth mode awaiting Wi-Fi setup. Connect to the Handy with the Handy Onboarding App to configure and go Online

Bluetooth + Wi-Fi Mode

(blue and magenta)

The Handy is on a special mode that has Bluetooth and Online enabled at the same time. This allows you to connect to the Handy Onboarding App and to online services.

Connected to Wi-Fi

(magenta)

The Handy is connected to your Wi-Fi network and ready for online use.

Manual Mode

(white)

The Handy is ready for offline use.

Firmware 4.0.14

In this Firmware, we standardized the LED status between versions, this way there is less confusion when updating and creates a standard for our device in the future

Offline Mode

(Green)

The Handy is in Offline mode and can be controlled via the buttons on the device itself.

Online Mode - Connecting

(Blinking Pink)

The Handy is attempting to connect to either your network or Ohdoki servers, please let the process run through properly.

Online Mode - Connected

(Steady Pink)

The Handy successfully connected to the Internet and the servers and is ready to be found via connection key in new.handyfeeling.com

Bluetooth Mode - Connecting

(Blinking Blue)

The Handy is ready to connect via Bluetooth and is able to be found via other devices.

Bluetooth Mode - Connected

(Steady Blue)

The Handy has connected via Bluetooth successfully and is able to be configured via Handy Onboarding App.

Bluetooth and Online Mode - Connecting

(Steady Pink and Blinking Blue)

The Handy is connected to the Internet and is available to be connected via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth and Online Mode - Connected

(Steady Pink and Blue)

The Handy is connected to the Internet and is connected to the Handy Onboarding App via Bluetooth.

Legacy Bluetooth Mode - Connecting

(Blinking Cyan)

This shows the Handy is in Legacy Bluetooth mode and is ready to be connected to applications that uses this Bluetooth protocols to connect.

Legacy Bluetooth Mode - Connected

(Steady Cyan)

This shows the Handy is in Legacy Bluetooth mode and is connected t applications that uses this Bluetooth protocols to connect.


All versions

Connection to Wi-Fi Failed

(magenta and red)

The Handy couldn't connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Update On-going

(red, green and blue)

The Handy is currently updating. Wait 1 to 5 minutes for the process to finish.

Machine is stuck

(red and off)

The Handy has detected obstacles in its path. Remove them to continue. If it continues to fail, contact support.

Maximum temperature reached

(red and orange or pulsing orange)

The Handy has overheated. Please give the machine time to cool down.

Calibration error

(red and white)

Handy could not calibrate correctly. Please remove any obstacles from its path and unplug the Handy. If it continues to fail, contact support.

Safe Mode

(yellow)

The Handy is in Safe Mode and can perform debug commands.
