Oladoctor offers three main types of online services. All services are provided by certified doctors and can be booked entirely online — without phone calls or paperwork.

What are the types of services?
1. Express Prescriptions and Medical Certificates
This format is based on a written request — you fill out a form, and the doctor reviews it asynchronously. There’s no live video call, but it’s still a medical consultation.
Typical uses include:
Prescription renewal (from EU or non-EU)
Requesting a medical certificate (e.g., IMT Portugal)
Mild symptoms or follow-up requests (e.g., UTI, allergy, asthma control)
After submitting your form, the doctor may contact you to clarify details if needed. You will receive any documents (prescription, certificate, referral) by email and in your Oladoctor account.

2. Express Consultation
This is a short 15-minute video consultation with a general practitioner — usually available the same day.
Choose this format if you have common symptoms such as:
Fever, sore throat, or cold
Rash, skin irritation
Headache or flu-like symptoms
Gastrointestinal complaints
Flare-ups of chronic conditions
Questions about contraception
You’ll speak with the next available doctor through secure video.
3. Specialist Consultation
You choose the doctor based on specialty, language, and availability. These consultations are ideal for in-depth discussions, second opinions, or long-term care.

Duration and price are set by each doctor and shown on their profile.
Where can I see all available services?
You can view all types of services directly in your Oladoctor account.
To check the service formats:
Log in to your Oladoctor account
Go to the left-hand menu
Click on Services
There you’ll find all available service types, including:
Medical Certificates
Specialist Consultation (Find a doctor)
Important
Available services may vary depending on the country you selected when creating your Oladoctor account. Some services are only accessible in specific locations due to local regulations.

What happens after I book a service?
After booking any service on Oladoctor:
You’ll receive a confirmation email with the basic information.
Order details will appear in your Oladoctor account under My Account → My Orders.
If the doctor issues any documents (such as a prescription, referral, or certificate), they will be:
Sent to your email
Available for download in My Account → My Orders → Download
You can access all documents anytime from your Oladoctor account.

Oladoctor is not a clinic or medical provider.
All clinical decisions are made by the doctor.
Documents (like prescriptions or certificates) are issued only if medically justified and compliant with local laws.
