๐ŸŽ“ Recap

The Reports feature lets you pull together a variety of data about your eventsโ€”ticket sales, patron geography, merchandise, etc.โ€”for insights and accountability. You can run reports from the Reporting dashboard, apply filters (by show, date range, etc.), view visualizations in the browser, and export data (CSV, PDF, Excel) for deeper analysis or sharing.

๐Ÿš€ Best Practices

  1. ๐Ÿ” Define your goals before you run reports โ€“ Know in advance what you want: revenue by show, online vs in-person sales performance, add-on sales, etc. That helps you pick the right filters and date ranges.

  2. ๐Ÿ—“ Track trends over time โ€“ Run reports regularly (weekly or monthly) to compare patterns in sales, audience size, or average order value. Seeing whatโ€™s rising or falling can guide promotion or pricing tweaks.

  3. ๐Ÿ“Š Use visualizations + exports โ€“ Use charts and graphs in-dashboard for quick take-aways; export data for sharing with your team, board, or for financial/grant reporting.

  4. ๐Ÿ”„ Leverage filters and segmentation โ€“ Segment by performance, membership, ticket types, or promotion source to uncover insights hidden in aggregate data.
