Fundraisers and Donations in the Box Office Portal

Updated over a week ago

The Box Office Portal can now be used without selecting a Production or Event. This is now the default view under Box Office > Purchase. This page displays all items that are not production specific, including org level add-ons and merchandise, subscriptions, and memberships. You can also process one-time donations here.

Donations

We’ve added the ability to associate a one-time donation through the Box Office Portal. Eligible orders may include only a single one-time donation. Orders containing additional items are not supported. To start, type a donation amount in this field and click Add Donation.

3. Once the donation has been added, a Fundraiser dropdown will appear. Click the dropdown to see eligible Fundraisers.

4. Select which Fundraiser you'd like to associate this donation to.

5. Once you have selected a Fundraiser, if there are eligible Team Members, you may select a Team Member from this dropdown. This step is optional if you do not want to specifically associate the sale.

6. Choose a Team Member from the list.

7. Click on Checkout and proceed to payment as normal. This donation will now appear as associated to the Fundraiser on the campaign page and on the order page.

Fundraiser Donations

We now support associating a one-time donation with a Fundraiser after the order has been completed. This option is shown only if the order contains a single one-

time donation. Orders with any additional items are not eligible.

9. Click on the Fundraiser dropdown to select an active Fundraiser to associate.

10. Choose a Fundraiser from the dropdown.

⚠️⚠️⚠️This association can be made **only once**, so please ensure you select the correct Fundraiser. Switching association is not supported due to financial and payout implications. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

11. Once you have selected the Fundraiser, the campaign will appear as a link. Click on the link to see the overview page of the campaign.

12. Box Office–only campaigns are now supported for tracking internal financial goals only. This option does not support public fundraising links or team members.

If you wish to have a public link or fundraise through team members, *do not* use this option.

Click Create New Campiagn to get started.

13. In this modal, click Box Office Only.

14. In this modal, name your campaign and set a goal, start date/time, and end

date/time.

15. Click on Create to save your campaign.

16. Your campaign has been created and automatically published. On this page, you can edit Details, view the Breakdown, and see the Campaign Overview, including progress toward the goal.

17. At the bottom of this page, you will also be able to see the Transactions table.

18. These Box Office Only campaigns are available exclusively through the Box Office Portal. You can associate donations using the dropdown shown in the previous steps. You can also select this Fundraiser from the dropdown on the Order page.
