When a ticket holder arrives with only part of their group, your box office staff can now check in the patrons that have arrived while sending the remaining tickets to the group members that have not yet arrived. This means:
The part of the group that has arrived can go to their seats
The new patron becomes a new contact for your future marketing endeavors
This means faster check in times for you, and more contact data to boost your sales!
To transfer tickets, pull up the patron order that has the tickets to be transferred. Push the red Transfer tickets button at the bottom of the page.
Next, select the tickets that you wish to be transferred. Push continue.
Enter the contact information of the patron who will be receiving the transferred tickets. Push submit.
If the transfer is successful, you will receive the following message.
The person who received the ticket will get an email confirmation with their ticket information, as well as information regarding who the ticket was transferred from.
Please note: Once a ticket is transferred from the purchasing patron to the new patron, the tickets are now considered merchandise items. The revenue is subtracted from ticket revenue and treated as add-on revenue and included on the Add On / Merchandise report.
