One great feature of Registration is the ability to host concurrent event start times.

🎭 Noteworthy: It is not possible to have concurrent start times in a standard event build. Use concurrent event times for camps or events that start at the same time, but are broken down into different groups. In the example below, summer camp starts at the same time for two age ranges.

In the event registration created below, the May 14th, 2023, 9:00PM event is added twice.

In the optional ticketing message box on the show details page, the appropriate age ranges are added so the registrants would pick the correct session on the checkout page.

This way registrants will pick the correct camp session for their appropriate agegroup.

🎓 Recap:
This article explains how to handle concurrent event start times in On The Stage, allowing organizers to schedule multiple events that overlap in timing. It provides tips on ensuring smooth event management and how the system tracks participant registrations, ensuring clarity and organization.

🚀 Best Practices:

  • Clearly Label Event Times: Make sure event start times are clearly communicated to avoid confusion.

  • Manage Overlaps Effectively: Set up distinct registration or ticketing options for overlapping events.

  • Monitor Attendance: Track which participants register for multiple events and ensure accurate scheduling.

  • Test Scheduling Features: Double-check that the system can handle overlapping events before launching.

  • Update Attendees Regularly: Provide reminders and any schedule changes to keep attendees informed.
