1. Add Your Allowed Domains
For GoDaddy websites, you'll need to add both your website domain and your GoDaddy preview domain to the Allowed Domains list in OTS.
In your OTS Admin Portal, navigate to: Website > Widget Configuration > Settings
Add:
Your website URL
Your GoDaddy preview URL
🎭 Noteworthy: If you can't see the entire widget when using the GoDaddy preview, publish your changes and check the live version of your website. The widget may display differently on the published site.
2. Add the Widget to Your GoDaddy Site
Once you've added your domains, follow GoDaddy's instructions for adding HTML or custom code.
Go to your GoDaddy product page.
Scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your website.
Select Edit Website or Edit Site to open the website builder.
Navigate to the page and location where you'd like your OTS Widget to appear.
Add a new section.
Search for the HTML section and select Add.
In your OTS Admin Portal, navigate to Marketing > Widgets and copy your widget embed code.
Paste the code directly into the Custom Code field.
🎭 Noteworthy: You only need the widget embed code provided in your OTS Dashboard. There is no separate header script or Code Reference to install.
3. Preview and Publish
After adding the code, you should see your widget appear in the preview on the left side of your browser. If the widget doesn't display correctly in the GoDaddy preview, publish the page and check the live version of your website. Once everything looks good, click Publish to make the widget available to your patrons.
