For residential solar loans, yes, the signed contract must be uploaded prior to application submission.
After the customer is pre-qualified, the sales representative will receive a text message and email prompting them to upload the signed contract and finalize any project details.
This page also gives you the opportunity to update any project details prior to the customer submitting their application. Doing this is important, as it'll decrease the chance of any delays when processing the application.
Once the contract is uploaded, the customer will be notified that they are able to submit their loan application. They will also be able to review any changes to the system details prior to submitting their application.
Please ensure that the contract is:
Signed by both parties.
Does not include financing for any items not on the approved list.
Itemizes the pricing for any adders. This is important to ensure that the project stays within our $3.75 price per watt limit for PV.
The system size (in watts or kilowatts) is included.
