Maximum Price Per Watt (PPW) and Project Adder Financing Guidelines

OneEthos and Climate First Bank have established pricing guidelines for solar projects and certain project adders. These guidelines apply to new loan applications.

Maximum Price Per Watt

The maximum price per watt for solar loans is $3.75 per watt.

This applies to the PV portion of the project only and does not include batteries, roofing, electrical panel upgrades, ground mounts, or other approved adders.

The PPW cap applies to residential and commercial solar loans.

The PPW cap does not apply to Tesla Solar Roof projects.

Please ensure solar contracts clearly itemize applicable project costs so the PPW can be calculated accurately.

Project Adder Financing Guidelines

Roofing
Up to 45% of the total project cost

Battery/storage
Up to 150% of the solar cost when included as part of a solar project

Battery/storage
Up to $1,500 per kWh

HVAC
Up to 30% of the total project cost

Additional Information

Projects must meet all applicable pricing and financing guidelines at the time of submission.

Installers should account for these limits when preparing proposals and submitting new loan applications.
