Submitting a Commercial deal follows the same general process as submitting a Residential deal, with just one key difference:
You’ll need to select the Commercial project type at the start of the application.
Step 1: Start a New Application
Log into the OneEthos Portal.
Go to the loan calculator tab
At the top of the Loan Monthly Payment Calculator, select Commercial.
This ensures the application is processed under our commercial program guidelines.
If the project is for a non-profit, select Non-Profit instead.
Step 2: Enter Project Information
Fill in the project details
Business or Non-Profit Name – Enter the legal business name.
Installation Address – Include the full address where the solar system will be installed.
System Details – Add solar, storage, roof, HVAC, or other eligible costs.
System Size (kW) – Required for pricing and loan calculation.
Note: “Other” refers to eligible adders such as EV chargers, spray foam, tree trimming, ground mounts, pergolas, critter guards, and other enabling electrical upgrades.
Step 3: Add Incentives, Rebates, and Downpayment (if applicable)
Enter any incentives or rebates being applied.
If there is a downpayment, enter that amount as well.
The Requested Loan Amount will auto-calculate based on the total system cost minus incentives and downpayment.
Step 4: Click Calculate
After you click calculate payment the portal will provide a section to enter the customer's email address.
Input the email address and click send this will send the loan application link to the customer.
Customer must complete the loan application
