oneSAFE - Completing an Audit
Updated this week

oneSAFE's audit tool allows Admins to build, complete and report on a Health and Safety Audit.

Completing an Audit

To complete and/or fill in an audit form, start by selecting the Audits option from the main oneSAFE menu.

After selecting this menu item, you will then be presented with the Audits dashboard. This will show you a list of open/completed audits along with a list of outstanding actions associated with these audits.

To complete an audit, start by clicking on the 'add new' button in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

If you have not yet set up your audit forms, you can find a guide on how to do so, here.

After you have clicked on the 'add new' button, you will be prompted to select an audit form/template.

Once you have selected your audit template, you will first be prompted to input some key information. This would be the audit location, the name of the auditor and the date of the audit.

Once you have input the initial information, you can then work through your audit form.

Against each step in your audit, you will have the ability to:

  • Upload any necessary support evidence or images

  • Determine whether Health and Safety standards are in place

  • Capture any findings or notes

You will then also have the ability to create any follow-up or associated actions/tasks that link to this step/checkpoint in your audit.

For each task, you will need to give it a title and description, set a deadline and assign the task to one or more members of your team.

Once you have worked through your audit form, adding any required information and tasks, you will be able to save the audit record using the save button in the top right-hand corner of the audit form.

Audit Reports and Insights

On the main audit dashboard, you will be able to see a list of all completed audits.

In this table, you will be able to see key audit data such as the date, auditor name, the number of associated actions and how many of those have been completed.

Below this table, you will also see a list of all audit actions. This table will provide a description of the action, the assignee and the open/closed status of the action.

Within both of these tables, you will find an 'export' button to the right-hand side. You can use this button to export your audit lists and the associated actions.
