What is the OneSite Agent?

The OneSite Agent is your built-in digital marketing assistant, designed to help you kickstart your website setup and optimize it to attract more of the right customers.

How It Works

When you visit your OneSite dashboard, you’ll see a pop-up message like this:

"Hello! I am your digital marketing assistant, here to help you grow your business and attract more of the right customers..."

This is the OneSite Agent, and it’s here to guide you through:

  • Understanding your business type

  • Learning about the services you offer

  • Customizing your website to better match your audience

What It Asks

The assistant starts by asking a few simple questions, such as:

  • What kind of jobs or services are you booking the most right now?

  • What makes your business stand out?

These questions help the platform tailor your site and content recommendations automatically.

Why It’s Helpful

  • Personalized Setup: The more it learns, the more your site reflects your real business.

  • Less Guesswork: You don’t have to figure everything out alone — the agent guides you.

  • Smarter Growth: The suggestions are built to drive visibility and conversions.

Responding to the OneSite Agent

The OneSite Agent is your personal digital marketing assistant, ready to help you build a better website and attract the right kind of customers.

When you open the chat, you’ll see a message like this:

Type your response in the message box at the bottom. Just tell the agent what kind of work your business is doing most often. For example:

  • “I mostly do bathroom renovations.”

  • “We book weekly lawn care services.”

  • “We install HVAC units and do maintenance.”

  • “I’m a wedding photographer.”

The more details you give, the better the agent can customize your site and recommendations.

Build your Customer Personas

Your responses are used to automatically generate customer personas — fictional yet accurate profiles of your ideal customers. These personas help OneSite:

  • Understand who you’re targeting

  • Highlight your most relevant services

  • Adapt the messaging and layout of your website

  • Recommend better content that speaks to your audience

What Happens After You Respond to the OneSite Agent?

Once you answer the OneSite Agent’s first question — like the type of jobs you’re focusing on — the assistant will go a step further.

Your initial response helps the assistant understand your main service focus. From there, it will ask follow-up questions to clarify important details, such as:

  • What specific types of jobs you want to prioritize (e.g. leak repair vs. full roof replacement)

  • What services are most profitable or frequent

  • Who your ideal customers are (by region, urgency, or service type)

Once you respond to the initial questions — like the types of jobs you’re booking or want to do more of — OneSite takes it one step further by creating customer personas.

See What Your Customers Might Ask

As you continue answering questions with the OneSite Agent, the system will introduce you to typical customer personas — like George Henderson, a long-time client — and show you realistic conversations they might initiate.
