Suggested changes: reviewing your site's opportunities

The assistant proposes improvements on its own. Here is how to pick the ones that fit and ignore the rest.

Which editor is this for? This guide covers the new Site Editor. You are in the right place if your toolbar has a Media button and your assistant is called Ellie. If it does not, you are on the Site Tuner — see the Site Tuner guides instead.

As well as answering your requests, the assistant suggests changes of its own — based on the season, on what it knows about your services, and on how your business is described. These arrive as suggestions, never as changes to your live site.

Where suggestions show up

A banner appears above the prompt bar summarising the suggestion, for example Your service focus has been updated to end of summer lawn maintenance, with a Review my site button. Clicking it opens the assistant panel at the relevant card.

The review card

Suggestions are grouped into a card headed with a count — 2 Changes to Review — and the instruction Select the ones relevant to your business.

Each suggestion shows when it was raised and what it proposes, for example:

  • You asked to focus your site on end of summer lawn maintenance; update your headlines and copy to feature late-season lawn maintenance services.

  • You requested to highlight seasonal cleanups and pre-winter landscape protection; add time-sensitive calls to action across your site to book fall cleanups today.

Choosing what to act on

  1. Tick the checkbox beside each suggestion you want.

  2. Click View Suggested Changes. The button counts your selection, so it reads View 0 Suggested Changes until you tick something.

  3. Review the draft that comes back in the usual way — see Reviewing a draft before it goes live — then accept or discard it.

You are not obliged to take any of them. Discard at the bottom of the card clears the suggestions, and the small cross in the corner dismisses the card.

Suggestions you asked for yourself

Some cards restate something you told the assistant earlier, so you can act on it when you are ready rather than at the moment you mentioned it. Treat these the same way: tick the ones that still apply.

If you would rather browse than be prompted

Suggestions point you at the highest-impact additions for your site. If you already know what you want, open Settings › Site Enhancements and add it directly — see Site Enhancements: badges, sections and widgets.
