Google Business Profile is a free tool that businesses and organizations use to create an online presence on Google, including Search and Maps.

A GBP account can be used to communicate business information to existing and potential customers, and can even be used to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

GBP allows you to gain insights into how your customers are finding your business, where your customers are searching, and other market information that could play an important role in growing your business effectively.

How Your OneLocal Account Interacts With GBP

If your business is using LocalReviews to improve your ratings and generate reviews, Google Business Profile is key to ensuring all incoming reviews appear on your OneLocal Dashboard.

By connecting your OneLocal account to your business's Google Business Profile, you can stay up to date on what your customers are saying directly on your OneLocal Dashboard.

How To Create a New Google Business Profile

Log into your Gmail account associated with your business. Go to google.com/business and click to get started.

1. Search for your business name and click "Create a business with this name".

2. Follow the steps and enter all relevant information for your business.
Google will ask for the address, contact information, main service category, etc.

These can be further edited, later on, so don't stress on perfection.

3. Verifying a business can be done in several ways that take a varying amount of time.
