By granting OneLocal access to your Google Business Profile (GBP) you can track the success of LocalReviews directly via your merchant dashboard!

Adding OneLocal Via the GBP Email

Before your kickoff call with your marketing specialist, our team will have requested access to your Google Business Profile, sending you a notification email with the request. Check your email Inbox (and Spam folder) for an email with the subject line:

“[Your Marketing Specialist] has requested access to [Your Business Name]'s Google Business Profile”.

When you find the email, simply click on the link within the email, and follow the steps to grant us access. You're done!

Manually Adding OneLocal as a User

In some rare instances, there will be problems with us requesting access to your listing. If this is the case, follow these steps to get started:

  1. On the left, scroll down and click the 'Businesses' tab

  2. In the new screen, click 'Create Group'

4. Name the location group 'your company name - Group Location' and 'Create'

5. This will create the location group, you can now transfer your GBP locations to this group.

From your 'Ungrouped locations' select the location you would like to give OneLocal access too and under 'Actions' select 'Transfer location'

Note: Once you have transferred the location, do not delete the location group.

If you wish to delete the location group you created, this will also delete any GBP Locations you have transferred to this group.

You will need to transfer your location back to 'Ungrouped locations' before to ensure your listing remains!

6. Once the location is transferred to the group, select the group and 'Settings'

7. Select, 'Manage Users' and on the pop up select 'Add Users', paste OneLocal’s Agency ID: 5194478971

This will appear as 'OneLocal' once selected.

8. Ensure the role selected is 'Manager' and click 'Invite'

9. OneLocal will receive your invitation to manage your Google Business Profile and we will accept this within 5 business days.

This access will allow us access to:

  • Connect your Google Business Profile to your OneLocal dashboard for LocalReviews success tracking!

  • For LocalSEO, we will be able to optimize your Google Business Profile to ensure you are getting the most from your SEO!

10. When our team has accepted the request 'OneLocal' will appear as a user on your Location Group and you will receive a confirmation email. The manager invitation will update to the user on your GBP dashboard.

Note: Once you have transferred the location, do not delete the location group as this could risk deleting your GBP.

Please contact us if you need any further assistance.
