1. Accepting the Invitation

1.1 The client receives an email invitation with the session details and a direct link to a notary session.

1.2 The client creates a OneNotary account or logs in if they already have one.

1.3 The portal prompts the client to verify if their equipment is sufficient for the notary session. The client needs to allow the browser to use their camera, speakers, and microphone. If the browser can't access the hardware, the session can not take place.

2. Preparing for the Online Notary Session

2.1 The client reviews the session participants.

2.3 The client enters personal information so the portal can generate knowledge base authentication (KBA) questions for the client.

2.4 The client starts identity verification using the generated KBA questions. They should answer at least four questions correctly within 2 minutes to pass the verification. If the identity verification fails, they will be locked for 24 hours.

2.4 The client begins the ID verification process. The portal prompts them to scan a QR code with their smartphone to receive a link for uploading their ID

2.5 On their smartphone, the client should select the type of ID, tap on it, and then take a photo of the document to upload

3. Pre-Session

3.1 When the identity verification is completed, the client moves to the pre-session screen. The screen asks the client to stand by.

3.2 The notary sees the request status change and opens the request to start the session. When the notary starts the session, the client hears an incoming call sound notification and has two minutes to join. If the client does not join the session, the notary contacts the client over email and tries again. They have 12 hours to start the session from the moment identity verification is completed.

4. Session

4.1 The notary checks the client's photo ID, checks the credential analysis report, matches the photo ID with the client, and presses the Confirm button. The notary terminates the session if there are any doubts about the client's identity.

4.2 Both the notary and the client join the remote online notary session. The notary guides the client through all steps, oversees the signer placing their signature, and stamps it with the notary stamp.

4.3 When the notarization is completed, the notary closes the session.

5. Document Delivery

5.1 When the session is completed, you receive an email notification and download the notarized document from your account. The download link will expire in 7 days after the notarization is completed
