How do I connect a domain via name servers at HostEurope?

⚠️Important: You may need to set up additional DNS records in Onepage, e.g. if your email is connected to this domain. Read our article How do I connect my mail to my domain (MX records)

⚙️To add Onepage nameservers in HostEurope, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Register with HostEurope

Open HostEurope, log in and go to My Account under your profile. Then go to Product Admin → Domain Services → Domain-Administration.

Step 2: Open DNS settings

Under “Domain-Administration”, select Edit Nameserver / DNS entries.

Step 3: Select domain administration

Click on the link Domain-Administration.

Step 4: Select the desired domain

Select the desired domain, select ..updaten from the options listed and then click on Execute.

Step 5: Carry out an update

Select the area for which you would like to perform an update. In this case, please check the Nameserver box.

We then recommend that you accept the notice and click Next.

⚠️Important: Please note that a name server change is an expert setting and incorrect/incomplete information could result in your domain not being accessible.

Please contact HostEurope Customer Service if you have any questions.

Step 6: Read and accept the note

Please read the instructions carefully, accept them and then click on Confirm.

Step 7: Add Onepage Nameserver

Now enter our primary and secondary nameservers.

Then please click on the Send button.

Step 8: Check details

You will receive a summary of your changes in this step. Please check it carefully, read the notes and select Perform updates.

⚠️Important: You will receive an email to complete the verification. Please open the link contained in the e-mail, which will complete the verification of your data. You have 15 days to complete this process.

That's it!🎉 You have now added the Onepage name servers to HostEurope. Please make sure that you have also made the necessary settings for Onepage. To do this, go back to the article: Connect domain via name server (NS)

📌 Note: It may take a few hours to connect the domain (up to 48 hours in rare cases). It is therefore acceptable if the domain does not work immediately.
