Work on projects together – simply and efficiently
Starting from the Essential license, you can share your Onepage projects with another person. With the Expert license, you can also assign individual editing rights – for content, CRM, or domain settings.
Depending on your license model, different functions are available regarding the number of additional editors and their access rights.
In this article, we'll guide you step by step on how to share projects or folders, assign editing rights, and adjust them if needed.
⚠️ Important: The person you invite must be registered with Onepage and have a Onepage account (free or paid) to view and work on your projects.
The available features may vary depending on your chosen subscription plan.
You can find this feature in the Onepage settings – either directly in the "Project" or via the "People" section in your account.
1st Option: Invite someone directly within your project
Step 1: Open the project you want to share.
Step 2: Send the invitation
Click on “Invite member”, enter the email address of the person you’d like to share your project with, and click the blue “Invite” button.
The invited person will receive an email with the invitation to collaborate. Once they accept the invitation, the shared project will automatically appear in their account under “Shared Projects”.
Step 3: Manage editing rights
To adjust the access rights of a team member, click on their name in the list. You can then individually set which areas they can view or edit.
For each of these areas, you have three options:
Can edit
Can view
No access
This gives you full control over who has access to what.
2nd Option: Invite someone via the “Collaboration” section in your project settings
Alternatively, you can also share your project via the "Collaboration" tab in the project settings. Here, too, you can invite people and assign individual editing rights.
3rd Option: Invite someone via the "People" tab
Click on “People” on the left-hand side of the dashboard. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select the project you'd like to share.
Manage editing rights
In this step, you also assign access rights. You can define which sections they can view or edit – e.g., Website, CRM, or Domain.
For each of these areas, you can choose between:
Can edit
Can view
No access
Share folders with others
Besides individual projects, you can also share entire folders in Onepage with others. The process is similar to sharing a single project – except you select a whole folder instead. Here too, you can manage the editing rights.

Why should I share a Onepage project with others?
Why should I share a Onepage project with others?
Because teamwork is more efficient when everyone has access to the same project – directly in the builder. Whether you're an agency, a start-up, or a larger company: if multiple people work on content or settings at the same time, it saves time, simplifies feedback processes, and ensures a smooth vacation or sick leave coverage.
Can I work on a project with colleagues or freelancers?
Can I work on a project with colleagues or freelancers?
Yes, absolutely! With the Essential license, you can invite one other person. With the Expert license, you can invite even more – and you can control exactly what each person can do: edit content, view CRM data, manage domains, and more.
To find out which license best fits your needs, check out the “Team Collaboration” section in the pricing plan – there you’ll see how many users can be added under each license.
I’ve shared my project, but the other person can’t see it – why?

Once you’ve shared your project, the invited person will receive an email invitation to collaborate. They must accept the invitation first. Only then will the project automatically appear in their Onepage account under “Shared with me”.
