Logic rules are conditions that determine how a form behaves based on user inputs. They allow you to dynamically control what questions or steps are shown, skipped, or modified, creating a personalized and efficient user experience.

With our now much wider range of different elements, we have added new logic rules that allow you to create precise step combinations to achieve the desired results.

📌 Please note: The use of these functions is only possible if you have purchased the "Forms & Quizzes" add-on. Please check our pricing page.

Firstly, you need to create a multi-step form. If you require additional information, please check this article:

Accessing logic rules

To access the logic rules please click on Edit section ➡️ Logic.

For a more convenient editing, you can use the full screen mode:

Adding rules

The logic can always be customized separately for each step. To add a logic rule, please select the required step and click on add rule.

Configuration of the rule

Now you can set up the conditions of your rule. The structure of the rule is as follows:

If [affected field] - [action] - [value] - Go to [target step]

For example: If the "City" filed matches "New York" the user will be forwarded to a specific step.

You can add several rules to each step, to define different actions, based on the input.

Finally, you need to define the "Else" field: if none of the logic criteria are met, the visitor will be forwarded to the defined step.

Adding more conditions

Apart from adding multiple rules, you can expand each rule with conditions. This allows your rule to be more precise.

It is important to adjust the AND/OR Parameter to your needs.

  • OR: the rule applies when one of the criteria is met.

  • AND: the rule applies only when both of the criteria are met.

For example: let us assume we are building a recruiting page and want our candidate to be 18-30 years old AND have a degree. Only if both requirements are met, the applicant will be forwarded to the needed step.
