⚠️ Warning: You may need to set up additional DNS records in Onepage, e.g. if your email is connected to this domain.
Read our article how to connect your mail to your domain (MX records).
Step 1: Add your domain in Onepage.
This setting needs to be made first in Onepage in order to establish the connection correctly. To do this, go to the article: Connect domain via name server (NS). If this has already been done, go to step 2.
Step 2: log in at IONOS and go to "Domains".
Log in at IONOS here.
Klick on "Menu" ➡️ "Domains & SSL".
Step 3: Select the required domain to be connected to the name servers.
Select the domain for which you want to edit the Nameservers and click on the gear icon next to the domain name.
Step 4: click on "Use custom name servers".
Step 5: add Onepage Nameservers.
Add the following Nameservers:
ns1.onepage.io
ns2.onepage.io
❗️ Important: make sure to put both nameservers and to save the changes.
Step 6: Important step - Reload the page and check that the name servers have been saved correctly.
Reload the page and then click on “Use custom name server” again. This will ensure that the changes have been applied correctly and that the nameservers have been saved correctly.
That's it!🎉 You have now added the Onepage nameservers in IONOS.
📌 Please note: It may take a few hours to connect the domain (up to 48 hours in rare cases). It is therefore possible, that the domain does not work immediately.
