Coach Dashboard widgets explained

Have visibility of outstanding actions, upcoming meetings and all coaching relationships with Dashboard widgets.

Updated over a week ago

Dashboard widgets give you a snapshot of the information that is important, on your home page.

There are four Coach Dashboard widgets:

  1. Actions widget: Track and manage agreed actions from your meetings.

  2. Meetings widget: View upcoming and in progress meetings at a glance.

  3. Relationship widget: Quick access to all the people you're connected to in Coach, including upcoming meetings and a snapshot of goals and actions.

  4. Goals widget: View goal progress. Choose to view your own goals, the goals of the people you're connected to in Coach, or goals for specific users or teams. It's designed for focus: viewing one goal at a time, or a few cycling as a slider.

  5. Goal collection widget: A table showing all goals at once, with progress and due date alongside each.

You'll find more detail on each widget type in the sections below.

Actions widget

The actions widget shows the total actions agreed in meetings. This includes:

  • Actions not yet done (to dos)

  • Actions that are overdue (the due date has passed)

  • Recently done actions (actions completed in the last month)

When adding the widget to your dashboard, you can choose to show:

  • Actions assigned to yourself (best for individuals)

  • Actions assigned to yourself and your relationships in Coach (best for managers)

  • Actions for specific teams or users

  • Show or hide completed actions e.g., hide them so that you have a clear view of what is outstanding, show them if you're motivated by ticking tasks off your list

πŸ’‘Use cases

For individual contributors:
Add a Goals widget scoped to "Logged in user" on your personal dashboard to keep your development objectives front and center.

For managers:
Add a Goals widget scoped to "Logged in user and their relationships" to monitor goal progress across everyone you coach without opening each relationship individually.

For shared team dashboards:
Use "Logged in user" scoping so each team member sees their own goals when viewing the shared dashboard, maintaining relevance without duplicating dashboards.

For leadership:
Add a Goals widget scoped to specific teams or users to track key development initiatives (e.g., all promotion-track goals, all leadership development goals).
