How to set up 'Key Metrics'

Specify the KPIs you want your team to have the most visibility on

Overview

Key metrics allow you to specify a priority set of metrics that will always appear on the platform in certain situations. These are

  • When the 'key metrics only' setting is used on a dashboard widget,

  • When loading the default view on the matrix, the first five key metrics are shown (go here to find out how to change the chosen five metrics).

By default, to configure key metrics, your account must have Admin permissions.

Making a metric a 'Key Metric'

  1. From the top navigation bar, click the kebab menu and select the Metrics item.

    This will open a page showing all the metrics that are available to you on your OneUp account.

  2. Click the name of the metric you'd like to appear on the dashboard, and from the pop out window that appears, find the 'Key Metric?' option towards the bottom.

  3. Toggle this on and click Update to save your changes.

When configuring a target based dashboard widget, if there isn't a target set against a selected key metric, it won't appear as a dial on the dashboard.
