Setting up In-App Flash Celebrations

Missed a trigger celebration because you aren't in the office? Bring celebration triggers straight to the OneUp platform instead!

In-App Flashes (IAF) will appear on all pages whilst you have the OneUp app open in your browser. When an IAF is triggered, you'll receive a sound in your browser to notify you that an IAF is available inside the app. If an IAF triggers whilst you don't have OneUp open as your default tab we'll queue them up and show you them when you switch back to OneUp.

You need to be an admin user on OneUp in order to create triggers.

Setting up an In-App Flash (IAF)

  1. Click on Automate in the navigation bar and select Triggers.

From here you can either create a new trigger, or you can skip ahead to adding an action to a trigger.

Creating a new trigger

  1. click + Create Trigger in the top right of your screen.

  2. Name your Trigger (this name won't appear on the screens, it's just for identifying the triggers on this page).

Creating trigger conditions

  1. Click on the newly created trigger, or the trigger you'd like to edit - this will roll down the trigger settings.

  2. First, click Add Condition on the left, and select Metric.

    🚨 Tip: We recommend you only have one condition to meet in order to trigger a celebration, otherwise things can get complicated! 🚨

  3. Fill in the conditions for the trigger in the When... section. This is the metric and quantity that your team members must meet in order to trigger their celebration!

    🚨 Tip: When using a placement metric that represents users with commission splits as the metric to fire a trigger for, set the value to 0.1. This allows any split percentage over 0.1/10% to trigger a flash 🚨

Congratulations! You've now set up the When part of the Trigger. Now it's time to set up the Then part.

Adding an IAF to a trigger

  1. On the trigger configuration page, click the name of the trigger you want to edit, then click Add Action and select In-App Flash from the dropdown.

  2. Create your action using the menu that appears. Here you can pick one the IAF will say, who can trigger the flash, and whether or not it makes sound.

  3. Hit Create Action and you're all done!
