Things to know

  • Announcements behave just like deal celebration flashes

  • When an announcement is showing, it will overlay all other content on your TV

  • An announcement will last for 30 seconds

Creating an announcement

  1. Navigate to the Workflows page via your navigation bar

  2. Click Create Workflow in the top right corner

  3. Select A scheduled date/time occurs as the source event

  4. Give your workflow an internal name and click Create

2. Set up your trigger (tell OneUp when you want the announcement to appear)

  1. Select the date and time you want the announcement to appear on your TV

Pro-Tip:

🚀 Add in some Emojis to make your Announcement look fantastic. Use the keyboard shortcut: Command + Control + Space (Mac) / Windows + . (period) (Windows) to insert an Emoji in the Title or Text 🤩

Use Cases

Use announcements for anything you would like to share with your team. The possibilities are endless, but here are some ideas💡:

  • Wish someone a Happy Birthday

  • Have a Monday pop-up to share important events happening during the week

  • Announce the beginning (and end) of a power hour

  • Remind the team to submit overtime/expenses every 15th of the month

  • Let everyone know you'll be having after work beers on a Friday:
