Overview

There are three ways you can use Leaderboards on the OneUp platform:

  1. Create a Leaderboard widget on your Dashboard,

  2. Create a temporary Leaderboard to export as a picture via the Leaderboard page,

  3. Create a Leaderboard slide on your Slideshow for your TVs.

Leaderboards are great way to quickly and simply visualize how your team is doing against their performance or target. Leaderboards are a great motivator for your team and can aid in increasing key output activities.

Creating a Leaderboard widget on your Dashboard

1. On your chosen dashboard, select + Widget.

2. Select Competition widgets, then Leaderboard.

3. Fill in the pop-up with the information you want to see on the Leaderboard. You can choose all users, or a particular Team, configured from the Teams page. Select a timeframe, and a metric to rank users against.

You can also choose to display the leaderboard by performance, or by target. Performance-based will rank users by the raw performance value, highest to lowest. Target-based leaderboards will instead rank users by percentage attainment of their target. This setting is useful if the users being ranked have varying target amounts to hit and you want to encourage attainment of targets, no matter how big or small they are.

4. Once you're happy with the configuration, click Save. The widget will appear on your dashboard.

Create a temporary Leaderboard to export as a picture via the Leaderboard page

1. Go to Competitions in the top navigation menu, and select Leaderboard.

2. On the new page, select which metric you would like to rank users against.

3. Select which users you would like to rank on the Leaderboard. This can be individual teams or all users.

4. Choose the time period you would like to view the Leaderboard over.

5. Select how you would like to rank the users:

  • By performance: ranks users against the performance they did in the time period

  • By target: ranks users against their target attainment in the time period

Certain team dropdown options may be hidden depending on your Data Access level. Read more about Data Access here.

Tips πŸ’‘

  • If you want to share the leaderboard stats with other users, or your friends, you can use the export button at the top right of the Leaderboard page to export a PNG image. Or use the button on the far right to export a direct link to the leaderboard you're viewing (note: the person you send the link to must also have an account on your OneUp instance to view it).
