Overview
There are three ways you can use Leaderboards on the OneUp platform:
Leaderboards are great way to quickly and simply visualize how your team is doing against their performance or target. Leaderboards are a great motivator for your team and can aid in increasing key output activities.
Creating a Leaderboard widget on your Dashboard
1. On your chosen dashboard, select + Widget.
2. Select Competition widgets, then Leaderboard.
3. Fill in the pop-up with the information you want to see on the Leaderboard. You can choose all users, or a particular Team, configured from the Teams page. Select a timeframe, and a metric to rank users against.
You can also choose to display the leaderboard by performance, or by target. Performance-based will rank users by the raw performance value, highest to lowest. Target-based leaderboards will instead rank users by percentage attainment of their target. This setting is useful if the users being ranked have varying target amounts to hit and you want to encourage attainment of targets, no matter how big or small they are.
4. Once you're happy with the configuration, click Save. The widget will appear on your dashboard.
Create a Leaderboard to export as an image via the Leaderboard page
1. Go to Competitions in the top navigation menu, and select Leaderboard.
2.Use the filters below the breadcrumb bar to configure your view. From left to right:
Performance / Target toggle: rank users by raw performance value, or by percentage attainment of their target. Target mode is useful when users have varying target amounts and you want to reward attainment regardless of size.
Date range: the time period to rank users over.
Metric: the metric to rank users against.
Entity: choose Users or Teams, then select specific users or teams from the dropdown. Leaving the selection empty defaults to all users or all teams.
3. To further control what appears on the board, select Customize view on the right side of the filter bar. This gives you two options:
Hide rows with 0 performance: removes any users or teams with no recorded performance in the selected period.
Hide deleted users: removes deleted users from the ranked list.
Your Customize view settings are saved in your browser, so they'll persist the next time you visit the page.
The leaderboard displays a podium for the top 3 ranked users or teams, followed by the full ranked list below.
š” Hover over any podium card or row to drill down and see more detail in the Analytics Modal. For team rows, the modal shows the individual members within that team.
