โ
Editing a slideshow reveals the Slideshow Timeline, which allows you to view and manage individual slides within a slideshow, controlling duration, period, and making edits.
โ
The Slide Builder is where you create and add new content, offering various slide types like reports, charts, leagues, missions, leaderboards, media, or text, to display dynamic data and messages on your OneUp TV.
The Slide Library is where you'll find a list of all slide content created at your company, allowing you to easily set up new slideshows from existing content.
๐๏ธ Slideshow Manager
๐๏ธ Slideshow Manager
The Slideshow Manager is at the heart of all slide content and is the central hub for creating, organizing, and modifying all your OneUp TV slideshows. Similar to the Report Manager, this section allows you to efficiently organize, create, and modify your presentations.
Creating a new slideshow
If you need to create a new slideshow, simply click the +New slideshow button located in the top right corner of the Slideshow Manager.
You'll be prompted to name your new slideshow, and then you can open it to start adding your desired slides.
Managing Existing Slideshows
For each slideshow listed in the Slideshow Manager, you'll find a three-dot menu to the right of the table, offering several management options if you need to edit an existing one:
Edit slideshow name: If you want to rename your slideshow.
Favorite slideshow: To mark a slideshow as a favorite for quick access.
View slideshow: If you wish to open the slideshow on your own machine to preview its content.
Duplicate slideshow: To create a copy of an existing slideshow.
Move to folder: If you want to organize your slideshows by moving them into different folders.
Delete slideshow: To remove a slideshow.
โ ๏ธ If you delete a slideshow that is connected to an active TV screen, your TV will go offline. Make sure that your slideshow isn't in use before deleting by checking the Screens area, under TV in the navigation bar.
Filtering Slideshows
On the left-hand side of the Slideshow Manager, you can easily filter your slideshows to find what you're looking for:
All slideshows: To view all slideshows you have access to.
Favorites: To see only the slideshows you've marked as favorites.
Company slideshows: If you have multiple organizations on OneUp, you'll see each of them listed here, giving you access to a filtered view of their slideshows.
Trash: To access any deleted slideshows.
๐ฐ๏ธ Slideshow Timeline
๐ฐ๏ธ Slideshow Timeline
When editing or selecting an existing slideshow from the Slideshow Manager, you'll be brought to the Slideshow Timeline. This is where you can view and manage all the individual slides that make up your chosen slideshow.
For each slide, you have several options to customize its appearance and behavior:
Set Duration: You can specify how long each slide will be displayed on your OneUp TV. Simply select the desired duration from the dropdown menu. The duration can be set in given intervals from 10 seconds, to 15 minutes.
Set Period: Control when a slide appears on your slideshow by setting its active period (date range). This allows you to schedule slides for specific campaigns or timeframes.
Edit: If you need to make changes to the content or settings of a specific slide, click the "Edit" button.
Duplicate: To quickly create a copy of a slide, use the "Duplicate" option. This is useful if you want to make minor variations of an existing slide without starting from scratch.
Remove: If a slide is no longer needed in your slideshow, you can easily remove it by clicking the "Remove" button. Removing a slideshow in the Slideshow Timeline does not delete it completely - it will still be accessible in the Slide Library.
Additionally, at any time, select View Slideshow in the top right corner to see a live preview of how your slideshow will appear on your OneUp TV screen. Hovering over the slide image in the Slideshow Timeline will also give you a quick preview of what the slide looks like, for an efficient editing process.
๐ ๏ธ Slide Builder & Slide Library
๐ ๏ธ Slide Builder & Slide Library
Once you've created your slideshow, it's time to add some slides to it! You can do this using the Slide builder.
To access the Slide builder, select + Add slide at the top right of the Slideshow Manager page.
The slide builder allows you to create any slide for use in all of your slideshows (not just the slideshow you're currently editing).
When you open the Slide Builder, you'll be presented with the Slide Library, showing you all the currently created slides on OneUp in a grid view.
From the Slide Library you can:
jump straight into our Slide Builder to create a new slide to add to your slideshow from the top right of the page (more on this soon),
select an existing slide in the grid using one of the three buttons:
Add the chosen slide to the current slideshow you're editing,
Edit the slide,
See options for previewing, favoriting or deleting the slide,
search for a slide using the search box at the top right of the page, or filter by specific slide types using the filter menu next to the search box,
view only your favorited slides using the menu at the left of the page.
If you need to create a new slide for your slideshow, the + New slide button at the top right of the page takes you to our Slide Builder. From here, you can create:
Each section below runs through the setup of each slide type.
If you want to add an existing slide to your slideshow, simply click the + button on that slide. You can also hover over the slide preview image to see what the slide will look like without having to open a slideshow first!
๐งฎ Report Slide
๐งฎ Report Slide
When you're building your slideshow, one powerful option is to create a slide that dynamically displays data from your saved Reports.
Here's how you can set one up:
Select a Report:
To get started, you'll see a dropdown menu labeled Report. This menu contains a list of all the reports you've previously saved on your Report Manager page. Simply select the report you wish to display on your slide, and you'll immediately see a preview of how it will look.
โCustomize Appearance: You have full control over the visual presentation of your report slide:
โEnable Summary Slide: For an added layer of insight, you can toggle on the Show summary slide option. When enabled, at the end of your report slide's set duration, a small, concise summary section will automatically appear. This summary typically highlights key metrics or totals from your report, providing a quick overview without requiring the audience to read the entire report table. This can be particularly useful for quickly conveying important information before the slideshow moves to the next slide.
Select whether to show target colors based on total performance OR expected performance.
The expected performance can help you drive performance without demotivating individuals.
๐ก Hints & tips for Report slides
A selected Report used on a slide will show the first 6 metrics listed. If a Report contains more than 6 metrics and is used in a slide, metrics after the 6th will be hidden.
If a Report is used on a slide and gets updated, any changes will be reflected on the slide in real time.
The deleted user state of the report applies to any slide it appears on. If you've chosen to hide deleted users in your Report, they also won't appear on slides using that Report.
โ
๐ Chart Slide
๐ Chart Slide
Charts are a great way to visualize your data in OneUp; now you can include them as part of your slideshow. Here's how:
Click the + New slide button, followed by Chart.
โGive your slide a name, select one of your existing charts saved within the Report Manager, and select a background image (optional). You can also expand and retract the preview as circled in the top right of this screenshot.
โOnce you're done, select Save. The chart will now appear within your slide builder page.
๐ก Hints & tips for Chart slides
Chart slides using the 'Compare entities during a time period' format will sort data descending (from highest to lowest).
If a Chart is used on a slide and gets updated, any changes will be reflected on the slide in real time.
The deleted user state of the chart applies to any slide it appears on. If you've chosen to hide deleted users in your Chart, they also won't appear on slides using that Chart.
๐ League Slide
๐ League Slide
League slides allow you to see, at a glance, how the events of an ongoing competition are unfolding.
To create a league slide:
Head to the slide builder and select + New slide, then League.
You'll be presented with the slide setup wizard. First, choose a name for your league slide - pick something that will be recognizable from other slides.
Next, choose if you want to display all currently active leagues on the platform, or just specific leagues.
If you choose All active leagues, you can filter this list to leagues that only involve particular users or teams.
If you choose Specific leagues, you can select the particular leagues you want to display. With the main setup done, you can then choose to add in a summary slide which, for a league slide, will show the current top three participants, the time left on the league, and the prize for winning the league.
Next, you can choose to include deleted users or hide them from your league slide by using the toggle.
Finally, choose a background image for your slide using one of the stock images, or upload your own.
Click Save, and your slide is created!
๐ Mission Slide
๐ Mission Slide
Missions are a great motivator, particularly when you've got one on the big screen to showcase around the office. To include them as part of your slideshow, follow these steps:
Select the + New slide button, followed by Mission.
โGive your slide a name.
โNext, you can choose whether you would like to display all currently active missions (including those that have finished within the last 5 days) or specific missions. Depending on which you choose, the drop-down will change.
Below, for all active missions, you can select missions based on what teams or users they are related to (this is optional).
โ
However, you may want to only select a specific mission. In which case, you must select which mission(s) you would like to display.
โUnder the Appearance section, choose whether to hide deleted users.
โSelect your background image by choosing from our stock images or uploading your own custom image to enhance the visual appeal of your mission.
โโOnce you're happy with your slide's configuration, click Save. Now when you go to the Slide Builder page, you will see your newly created slide.

Leaderboard Slide
๐ Leaderboard Slide
A Leaderboard slide is an excellent way to encourage competition and drive performance within your team directly on your OneUp TV. This slide type allows you to display a real-time leaderboard for a specific metric, keeping everyone engaged and motivated.
โ
Hereโs how you can set up your Leaderboard slide:
Slide Title: Give your leaderboard slide a descriptive title that will appear on the TV.
Select a Metric: From the Metric dropdown, choose the specific metric you want to track on this leaderboard (e.g., "BD Calls," "Revenue Booked," etc.). You can only select one metric per leaderboard slide.
Define the Entity/Teams: Use the Entity dropdown to select which teams or groups of consultants you want to include in this leaderboard. These entities are configured on your platform's Teams page.
Choose a Time Period: Specify the time period for which the leaderboard data should be displayed (e.g., This Month, Last Quarter, Year to Date).
Next, choose a Show As setting (Individuals or Teams):
Pick the Leaderboard Type (Performance or Target):
Appearance Options: Further customize the appearance and content of your leaderboard:
Show summary slide: Toggle this on if you want a summary of the leaderboard to appear at the end of the slide's duration. The summary for a leaderboard slide will show the top three participants.
Show bottom 3 in summary: If you have the summary slide enabled, you can choose to also display the bottom 3 performers in the summary, providing a complete picture.
Hide deleted users: This option allows you to exclude any users who have been deleted from your OneUp platform on the leaderboard.
Show users with zero performance: Toggle this on or off to include or exclude users who have not recorded any performance for the selected metric during the specified time period.
Choose Background Image: Just like other slide types, you can select from our stock background images or upload your own custom image to enhance the visual appeal of your leaderboard.
๐ต Media Slide
๐ต Media Slide
A media slide allows you to display any media content you like on your TVs in the office! Have a company video you want to play? Details on an upcoming incentive? Or even a motivational quote? This slide will give your slideshow some visual flare and set it apart from others.
From the Slide builder, click + New Slide, then Media. You'll be taken to the Slide Builder.
Give your slide a title.
Next, upload or link your content.
For upload content, OneUp supports image file types such as .jpg, .png, .gif, .webp, and also supports .pdf uploads. Files must be no larger than 5MB. File upload on the media slide does not support uploading videos.
For URL content, OneUp is able to display any webpage that supports "i-framing" - in other words, being displayed on another webpage. This includes YouTube or Vimeo videos, and many other websites.
Finally, you can choose to show or hide the title bar on this slide.
Select Save and your slide is created!
๐ก Media image size
Although media slides accept images of any size, if you're using a TV, the aspect ratio of the display is typically 16:9, so we recommend ensuring your image conforms to one of the following resolutions for the best results:
1920x1080
2560x1440
3200x1800
3840x2160
If the resolution of your uploaded image is smaller than that of the display running your slideshow, it may not fill the entire screen. Check the display manufacturer's website to confirm the maximum resolution your display can support.
๐ฌ Text Slide
๐ฌ Text Slide
The Text type slide provides a flexible way to display custom messages, announcements, or celebratory content on your OneUp TV.
As shown below, you can see an example of a "Happy Birthday" message, demonstrating the significant control you have over the text content and its appearance.
Hereโs how you can create and customize a Text slide:
Slide Title: Start by giving your slide a title. This will appear at the top of the slide on your TV. In our example, it's "Happy Birthday".
โText Fields (Optional): You have three optional text fields to build your message:
Large text (optional): For your primary, most prominent message.
Medium text (optional): For a supporting message that's slightly smaller than the large text.
Small text (optional): For additional details or a personalized touch, as shown with "Hannah" in the example. You can use any combination of these fields to create your desired message.
โ
Appearance: Customize the visual style of your text:
Color: Use the color selectors to choose the Text color and the Text border color. This allows you to make your message stand out.
Hide title bar: If you prefer a cleaner look and don't want the slide's title to be displayed on the TV, you can toggle on the "Hide title bar" option.
โโ
Choose Background Image: To make your text slide visually appealing, you can select from our library of stock background images or upload your own custom image. This is particularly effective for celebration slides, like a birthday message with confetti!

Troubleshooting
My slide is missing data
Any data displayed on TV slide content matches the data access level of the owner of the Screen configured on the Screens page of OneUp.
For example, if the Screen owner is a Manager whose data access is limited to the team(s) they manage, the content available to add on the Screen will be limited to content relevant to those teams. Find out more about data access โก๏ธ here.
If you want to enable full access to data for a given slideshow, one way to resolve this is to transfer ownership of the Screen to a person with a higher data access level. Find out how to transfer Screen ownership to a different user โก๏ธ here.
The other option is to give the user who currently owns the Screen a higher level of data access. Use the guide linked above for steps on how to do this.
