A subscription can easily be paused.
Pausing a subscription temporarily stops future orders until the subscription is reactivated.
The pause feature helps you retain customers and avoid churn (aka: losing customers).
Customers can pause subscription orders from the Subscriber Portal.
As a Shopify merchant, you can also pause your customer's subscription.
- From Ongoing, click Subscriptions 
2. Click the subscription you want to manage
3. Under Subscription status, select Pause and click Save Status
