Create Shopify Subscription Policy + Add Subscription Policy to your Footer

Merchants can create a custom Subscription Policy for their store.

Shopify refers to the Subscription Policy as a "Purchase Options Cancellation Policy"

Part 1: How to Add a Subscription Policy on Shopify

  1. From Shopify, click on Settings

  2. Click Policies

  3. In Purchase Options Cancellation Policy section, click Replace with Template

  4. Click Save

Here's what it looks like -when blank.

We recommend clicking Replace with template

Using the template text is a great way to get started, feel free to adjust it as needed.

Part 2: How to Add Subscription Policy Link to Your Website

  1. From Shopify, click Online Store ➡ Sales Channel ➡ Navigation

  2. Click Footer Menu

  3. Click Add Menu Item

  4. Name it Subscription Policy and select from Policies, add the Subscription Policy

  5. Click Add

  6. Click Save Menu

  7. Check your store's footer to see if the subscription policy is being displayed

Now double check on your website, that the link is displaying on your Footer.
