✅ The jmc dev team added a “My Account” popup to all Community Messenger pages giving you quick access to the “District Settings” and new “My Settings” pages.

✅ All pages have been optimized for multiple devices such as desktop, tablet, and mobile so that users can enjoy Community Messenger anytime, anywhere.

✅ You now have the ability to upload your district’s logo to the login and dashboard views, helping community members easily identify that they are on the correct website.

✅ We have enhanced Community Messenger with more filtering options to make it easier to find the information you need to effectively manage communications. Top highlights:

  • Filter chips have been added throughout Community Messenger to make it easier to track what you’re searching on the Message Log, Contacts, and Groups pages.

  • You can now filter on the corresponding page by clicking the filter icon at the top left of the page, next to the search bar.

  • Contacts: Now located under the page title, you can filter by category such as 'Administrators' and 'Favorites.'

  • Groups: Now located under the page title, you can filter by ‘Favorites,’ ‘Frequently contacted,’ and ‘Deleted.’ The quantity in each filter is also visible.

  • Message Log: This was also moved beneath the page title, to allow for more filter combinations in one view, like Message Status, Message Type, and Date Range.

✅ Searching is now even more comprehensive with the addition of these options:

  • Global Search: When making a global search using the top right popup, you can “View all” for any category that fits the search criteria for Messages, Contacts, or Groups.

  • Message Log Search: You’re now able to view all messages that fit the search criteria by using the Search Bar.

  • Contacts & Groups: You can view all messages that fit the search criteria for Contacts and Groups.

✅ Logging out is now even easier as we’ve moved the button from the bottom of the Settings page to the 'My Account' page.

By the way, standard users can now log out by clicking the button conveniently located at the top right corner of the page.

✅ We added a 'Dashboard' page to save you time on managing communications and contacts. Let’s take a look at all that you can view on the Dashboard:

  • Message Quantity: A bar graph that displays the number of messages sent by type (Email, Text, Text-to-Voice Phone Call, and Voice Recording) with the option to filter by date.

  • Message Type by Month: This line graph shows the number of messages sent by type for each month. You can also isolate this data to a specified date range.

  • Contacts and Messages Sent: Gives you a snapshot of your total contacts and total messages sent.

  • Frequently Contacted Groups: Lists the Groups who you most frequently contact so you can quickly access those recipients and send them a message.

  • Message Log: Get a snapshot of the status of your recently sent messages. From here you can also access the entire Message Log in one click.

  • Shortcuts: Access your saved shortcuts to frequently visited sites or add new ones.

  • Quicklinks: Quickly access key functions like Send Message or Create Contact.

✅ A 'Preview' page has been added, giving you the ability to double-check the content of your message and other details, like recipients, to ensure there are no mistakes before hitting ‘Send.’

✅ When creating a message, you’ll see that we’ve added visual prompts to make it easier for you to track your progress.

✅ You can now select multiple checkboxes instead of a button for multiple combinations of message types, saving you even more time on composing communications.

✅ Message details can now be viewed by clicking the message row in the 'Message Detail' list and you can choose which bits of information to show, instead of all at once.

✅ We’ve made it even easier to take action on a specific message by displaying all options like View, Clone (formerly Duplicate), and Stop under one menu, located to the right of the message.

✅ New status indicators clearly show whether your message is In Progress, Completed, Failed, Stopped, or Scheduled.

✅ You’ll notice that we’ve collapsed the progress bar for a cleaner look. To expand the progress bar and view the status of your messages, simply click the row of messages.

For more on monitoring messages through the Message Log, read this jmc Help Center article.

✅ You can now view all phone numbers and email addresses for each contact in just one click of the contact’s info.

✅ We created this new page to allow you to easily manage your account from one spot. That includes the ability to:

  • Edit your contact information including first and last name, password, email addresses, and phone numbers.

  • Opt in and out of receiving text notifications.

  • Subscribe to Groups so that you only receive district news relevant to you.

  • Delete your account.

✅ You can easily change the district logo that’s visible to all Community Messenger users by clicking on it and following the prompts.

✅ All the info you need to make a support request is now located in one spot, including the Client Number, District Name and Address, Account Phone Number, and Software Release Date.

✅ You now have the option to display your caller ID phone number when contacting community members, letting them know that it’s your district who is calling, not a spammer.

✅ We’ve added the option to display a logo alongside longer text messages, so that the recipient knows it’s a legitimate message from their school district.

✅ Within the District Settings page, you can take advantage of more options for managing voice recordings:

  • Choose from either a female or male voice for Text-to-Voice phone calls.

  • Edit the Access Code used to create a voice recording for heightened security.

  • Manage your list of saved voice recordings including reviewing the audio, deleting, and titling for later access, all from one page.

✅ You can set robust password requirements for community members like a minimum password length and minimum number of symbol characters to keep their accounts extra secure.

Note: Any preferences that you touch on the District Settings page will be reflected across all Community Messenger admin accounts.
